James and Maison

Last night we met up with our friends Jace and Tiffany and their baby Maison to celebrate their June birthdays. We went and got ourselves some Cafe Rio and brought it to the park to eat. Maison is just two months younger than James and they are pretty much best friends already. Cant you tell?

What cute Boys!!!

Happy Fathers Day

Sunday was Brady's first official Fathers Day! He was so excited, he asked to open his presents at 12:00 a.m. so I gave them to him. I don't have a picture but I am pretty proud of my choice in gifts. A new white church shirt, Real Salt Lake tickets, and a candy bar poster( announcing the tickets on there as well). Brady was so excited! We are going to the game this Saturday. And to my surprise, we are playing our rival team so its supposed to be an awesome game. I so did that on purpose(wink wink).
After church, Brady went out to pick cherries from our huge cherry tree. We soon followed, and boy James was glad we did. He loves cherries! Now that he has a tooth, he would take a huge bite out of the cherry.
This picture is just a very small portion of how many cherries are on this tree. We can't reach the majority of them without a ladder.

Happy Fathers Day to a wonderful Dad! James just adores you. He gets so excited when you walk in the door from work because you are the fun one:). We love you Brady! Thanks for being such a wonderful dad and husband.

Rip and Tear!

They other night I was reading a magazine on the couch. James was sitting next to me just contently playing with some toys.It didn't take him too long to realize I had something quite entertaining.

I tried to keep him from getting the magazine for as long as possible. It was just too enticing for him sitting right next to it. He kept trying to grab the pages and climb onto my lap. That's when I thought 'what the heck, have at it'.
Oh boy! He was in Heaven
Watch your magazines because James has his eye on them!

Our Boy is 8 Months Old Today!

I cannot believe how time has flown! James is so big! He now weighs over 18 lbs.

Brady and I are very blessed to have James in our family. Everyday I thank my Heavenly father for this little guy. I don't know how I got so lucky to be his mom. He is the most fun baby I have ever known. He is always laughing or smiling at someone. If he is not you know its because he is either tired, hungry or has a messy diaper.

James loves people to talk to him. He loves being outside and being in the bath tub. James really loves the girls in the family right now, he will give them an instant smile.  He  is always grabbing at everything and he gives the BEST BIG WET KISSES. We just love you to death baby boy! You make us smile lots every day!
Happy 8 months!
Sure love ya!

Idaho Camping trip

Over Memorial Day Weekend, we went camping with my family near Twin falls Idaho. It was cold most of the time, but we made the best of it and had a great time just being together. Good food and good company definitely equal out to be a great time:)

We went to see the Ice Caves near Jerome. It was below 30 degrees in there. It was really neat to see. This picture is of a reflection in the water.
Here is a picture of us in the ice cave. A little blurry.
We also went to The Twin Falls. Beautiful waterfalls!

The First Hike

Here we are trying to fit all three of us in the picture! Victory!
At the beginning of May, we took James on his first hike. We went up Waterfall Canyon in Ogden. James did great! I kept him well fed with bits of bread. He looked so cute in his little pack.

ahh! so refreshing!

Our little James is getting in his first tooth. Poor guy:(. It has been quite a battle to get this tooth through, which is not quite in yet.
Sunday he was ornery, then that night he was running a fever of 102. Yikes! It broke after Brady gave him a cool bath.
Then, last night we were at my moms and he started running a fever again. He was so fussy, and he is not a fussy guy. The only thing that could relieve him was this yummy banana popsicle. He was in heaven with this thing. He would stick his tongue out to lick it, pure joy right there. It was so funny.
Well, I think the tooth has almost broke all the way through but we are still working on it. Wish us luck. I can't wait to see my little guy with a tooth:)
