These boys...

Are My life.

James just adores his dad. Every day when Brady gets home from work James gets so excited and is just gabbing away and wants to play all night with his dad. Its the cutest thing.

Me? I'm not doin' nothin'!

Spring Weekend

This last weekend was pretty blissful:).
Friday we met my parents at Zupa's for dinner. Afterwards we went home. Brady had
homework to do but decided to procrastinate and played with James and I the rest of the night.
Brady and I saw a few funny/ random tv shows after James went to bed.
Saturday Brady's dad gave us some of his daisies he was going to dig up and we planted them in our flower bed out in the front yard. I can't wait until they blossom because daisies are my absolute favorite. It was fun, James and I sat out front and chatted with Brady while he planted the many flowers. In the process of planting, Brady's wedding ring slipped right off his finger. So sad. And the weirdest thing, he stopped and watched it hit the ground. Never to be found:(. Metal detector anyone?
Saturday afternoon we met the Griffin Family( minus Ben and Jenn's fam) at a park in Ogden to fly kites for Lori's( Brady's mom) birthday party. It was such a beautiful day. James and I sat on the grass, soaked in the warm weather, and watched everyone fly their kites. Surprisingly James didn't mind the grass at all, I think he kind of liked it.
Later that night our friends in our ward had us over for dinner and a rousing game of Settlers of Catan.

Here is a picture of James on Saturday in his super handsome shorts and t-shirt. I think its a favorite of ours. Shorts are so cute on him.

Sunday church was relaxing. Brady offered to take James to priesthood with him so I got to sit and listen to the whole lesson in Relief society. An amazing lesson it was too. Then in sacrament meeting James was looking over my shoulder and literally crashed his head on my arm and was out for the rest of the meeting, so sweet.:)
Sunday night we went to Griffins where Kati, Grandma and I cooked dinner for Lori for her Birthday.
What a weekend

James 5 Months

James is getting so big!
He now weighs over 15 lbs. James loves rice cereal, he gets so excited to eat it every night and eats it up so fast.
James loves to stand up, with assistance. He loves to talk, he is a chatter box. sometimes when he is trying to talk its almost like a scream, so funny.
When he takes his naps he likes to put a blanket over his face(it must feel nice) to fall asleep. Then once he is asleep I have to sneak in and pull it off his face.
James still LOVES his hands! He sucks on them constantly.
We are working on helping him sit up on his own and trying to help him like being on his tummy. He is a work in progress:).
James is such a curious little guy. He is always looking around at everything, especially when we are in new places.
He also LOVES the bath, he kicks and kicks and splashes himself pretty good and then giggles at himself.
He never ceases to entertain and make us laugh.
We love our little guy and so grateful for him in our family.
