In The Spirit of Thanksgiving

(Sorry the video picture is a little bit cut off, still learning how to put videos on here. But hey at least its there to watch right?!)

These are a few things I am so thankful for right now:
I am Thankful for the gospel in my life. I am thankful for the knowledge that my Savior loves me,and that he knows me. I am thankful That he knows what is Best for me and my life and is always by my side to help me whatever the situation may be.
I am so thankful for my husband Brady. He is my very best friend and is truly the most genuine person I know. I love that he is always happy and has a love for life. I love him and am so blessed to be his wife.

I am so thankful for everyday and the all the little blessings that I so often take for granted.
- sunshine on my face
- a warm home
- socks on my feet
- sweet treats
- smiling people all around
- The laughter of children
And many many more...

"Sister Knowledge"

At young Womens tonight we were all just chatting. One of my lovely beehives brought a scrapbook she made of various young women activities( camps, youth conference, weekly activites) for her knowledge project for personal progress. We were all looking through it and commenting on how nice it looked. In all of this talk about "Knowledge" projects and such she turned to me showing me that the scrapbook binder was green(knowledge value color) and said:" Sister Knowledge, look at my binder Its green!" I was so flattered, these were words I never thought I would hear in my life. We all laughed really hard and I am now referred to among my Beehives as Sister Knowledge. I am feeling pretty knowledgeable right now, which probably wont last long at all. But might as well soak that in while I have it right?
Oh how I just love my young women! They are all so beautiful. They are teaching me all the time and are amazing girls.

Noble and great. Courageous and determined. Faithful and fearless. That is who you are and who you have always been. And understanding it can change your life, because this knowledge carries a confidence that cannot be duplicated any other way.

Halloween...What a weekend!

Griffin Party!!!!
The Griffin family had a Halloween party at Brady's parents house on Friday night. We had soup for dinner in cute bread bowls(I wish I had pics of all this). Then we played some funny games and watched an episode of Thunder Cats. Here is everyone all dressed up:

Brady and I were dressed as Ellie and Carl from the Disney Pixar movie UP. We were them when they were little kids.

We have been anticipating these costumes for just about a year now! I bring you ...
THE THUNDER CATS!!!!!
I really didnt know what the Thunder Cats were until last year when the kids starting planning what they were going to be for Halloween. If you dont know, Its an 80's cartoon.
They all looked so great! Kati's kids were so excited. We even got to watch the Thunder Cats on TV that night at the party.

Here is our Cute witch Lori with the bad guy Isaac.

Here is Tanner's girlfriend, Megan. She was a Richard Simmons Success Story.
We had such a fun time! For dessert Kati made some yummy pumpkin whoopie pies!!

Riley Party!!!!
On Saturday night my family had a party at my sister Liza's house. It was also very fun. we ate soups for dinner and played some good games with the family.
Here are all the wonderful costumes:

Here we are again!

Here is Fred and Wilma Flintstone!!! Mom and Dad looked so cute! And Dad has got his black hair back, nice touch.

Here is Victor Crumb and Hermione Granger and their cute little Monkey.

Logan and Deborah, cutest skeletons I have ever seen!

Cleopatra and The Rocker!

I didn't get any good pictures of Liza's kids because they were trick or treating in the rain and got all wet and had taken their costumes off by the time we saw them cause they were freezing.

Here is the gang! Grandma Melba came so that was really fun to have her there.

Brady and I made a pumpkin vegetable tray. We were pretty proud of it too:)

What a fun weekend!
