The Flat Tire Blues

Brady and I took our bikes out for the first time tonight after work. We were so excited! We just went on the Legacy Trail that begins by our house. Its a really nice paved trail. Well, silly us we were not even thinking about bringing any patch kits or anything along with us. We were going on a paved trail for heaven sake! We got to about Kaysville area when I realized my tire was super flat. Sad I know. Brady rode his bike back home and got the car and rack while I walked my bike to the nearest road for Brady to come get me. My cute husband went as fast as he possibly could. he was out of my view in a jiffy. He was real worried about leaving me behind. I was fine though. When I got to the road I just watched traffic pass me by. I didn't have to wait too long either. It was fun while it lasted.

FUN TIMES WITH JAMIE AND FAMILY!

Jamie and her four kids flew into town last Tuesday and they left back for Albuquerque New Mexico today . I got to spend some time with them which was really fun( its always fun when Jamie is around). Last Thursday we went to Classic Skating and played on all their blow up toys and tried to teach the kids how to roller skate, it was a blast! Friday we went out to dinner with my family and played at Liza and Tad's afterward. I also got to see her before she left today, we went to the mall and had lunch.
It was so much fun to see Jamie and her kids, they are all so cute. We miss them lots and cant wait to see them all this summer( and Travis too). It was fun playing and hanging out with ya Jamie! We sure love ya:)

Brady and I got bikes!
After working at The Bike Shoppe for almost seven months, we finally decided that we have been wanting our own bikes for too long. So we got some. We both get sweet employee discounts so it worked out quite nicely. We are so excited to get out and ride them.
They are Gary Fisher Mountain bikes and their specific name is Marlin;)
I love the color of mine, I have been eyeing this one at work for quite some time now. Now its mine.
If anyone has a bike and would like to come ride with us please do. We are just beginners though, but we will ride with anyone.

As Green as we could get!!!

Brady made us yumdidliumptious green mashed potatoes and turkey! We also had a green salad, green drink(with green straws), green key lime yogurt, and sugar cookies with green frosting.
And to top it all off we were both wearing green, of course! Oh how I love holiday dinners.

Brady and I had a fun family night game. Here are the rules:

• Drive around town looking for signs with the separate letters from the other persons name.
• You can only use one letter from the signs you use. All different signs.
• Be suspicious, you don't want anyone to see you. So run fast.
• Guess beforehand how long you think it will take.( it only took us like fifteen minutes)

Here's Hopin

I heard on the radio this morning that its supposed to hit 58 degrees today! So I wore a bright yellow shirt and flip flops! Spring day for sure! I just want it to stay spring now. Crossing my fingers that it will stay(maybe my yellow will help). I hope you can enjoy the sun today, it makes me smile.



4:30 p.m.
... Well this is a bit depressing. I had high hopes for this day, and I think I have been cold all day. Maybe my yellow was a curse. I went to the park with Liza and her three kids and my mom today and we were miserable the whole time because of the wind and the cold. Pretty sure it didnt reach 58 degrees. And I am cold right now. Sorry if I got anyones hopes up for the day. Oh well it is still a happy day wearing yellow. Another day.
