Disneyland!!! woot woot

Ok so I wasnt quite sure where to start with a blog update. We will start with our magical trip to disneyland with the Griffin family. Well it wasnt the whole Griffin family, we were missing Tanner and Meagan(on their honeymoon) and Kati and Jo and kids. We wished they could have been there with us but we still had a great time!

We played super hard as you can see, as we all took a snooze on the comfy " pillow bushes".

This was taken on the mickey mouse ferris wheel in California Adventure, I despise the ride.

Here is a good looking bunch on the carousel( Ben,Ellis,Jenn, and Sam)

Minnie Mouse and the twinner boys!!!

The whole family!!! Love these people!!

All in all we had a wonderful time in California!! Slickest trip to Disneyland, thanks to Ride Maxx. All we did was play and really enjoy each others company! Thanks Dave and Lori for the Magic!!

Our memories of 2012

What a year!
We had a lot of fun times in 2012

I turned 22 and Brady 25 in January.

Brady started his love for teaching guitar lessons to four students.

Had our first Easter as a family of 3!

Watched many RSL games on tv.

Celebrated Fathers and Mothers Day.

Enjoyed many walks around our neighborhood.

I took piano lessons with James alongside me.

Experienced the pains of watching James get quite a few of his teeth in. Poor guy.

Cherry Hill with the cousins when Ben and Jenn were in town.

Disneyland!!!

Beach in California

We settled down and bought my parents house and moved in soon after.

We went on our long awaited free trip to Kona Hawaii with our parents.

We worked on a few projects getting settled into our new home( building shelves, redoing furniture, painting many walls of rooms in the house). Brady is quite the handyman.

Had a Chirstmas season full of family, projects( two quilts, two corner shelves and redoing a little tikes car), great food, friends, and fun parties

Most of all we have really enjoyed watching James grow this year. We are still learning how to be parents everyday and love our little family.

We will forever cherish the year 2012.
We are excited to see what 2013 has in store for us!!!

Happy New Year :).

Halloween

Add caption

Can you guess what we were dressed as? Here we are at my moms Halloween party.

My parents the tourists:)

All the grandkids( except for Carter)

So, Brady has school the night of Halloween so I decided to sew myself this skirt and be matching with James.

Our little Mickey Mouse. Isn't he the cutest?

James' birthday party

We invited our families over the sunday after we got home from Hawaii to have a little birthday party for James.

Enjoying his second cake experience.

Grandma Lori and Grandpa Dave gave him this little motorcycle that he can stand and push as well.

We made him a black sand beach cake in honor of James' love of sand.

Grandma Pam and Grandpa Jim gave James this awesome car toy. Thanks everyone!

Hawaii part 2

After dinner on James' birthday we headed back to the condo for some cake and ice cream and presents.
James loved all the things he got! Thanks grandmas and grandpas!

We couldn't help but buy James this cute stuffed sea turtle. He loves to wrestle with it.

We bought individual slices of cake for everyone. Even James got his very own...

And he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Thursday we went deep sea fishing with Dave and Lori while my mom and dad watched James. Unfortunately, we didnt get a bite. It was still a fun expensive boat ride though. They only take out 6 people on a  boat at a time so it was so relaxing and so pretty out on the ocean.
Later that day we went to another beach and to the macadamia nut factory which I have no pictures of because I was too busy trying not to let James eat sand.

On Friday our parents both went and did there own exploring and dropped Brady, James and I off at the Hilton to swim and explore the huge paradise.

After we had done much swimming and snorkeling at the Hilton we decided to try and walk back to our resort ourselves. to say the least, we got a little lost and were not able to make it back without a car. oh well it was a fun adventure.

That night we all went to a Luau at the Hilton.

Here is the pit that they roasted the pig in.

Saturday the Iron Man race was going on outside of our resort. We decided we would rather stay away from the crowds and traffic and basked in the sun on our private beach for another day. Wonderful choice:).

James got a good nap in, sweet boy.

We walked to a beach that a bunch of sea turtles beach at every day around dusk. We got sooo close to them. They are so cute.

I love us!!

Here is my mom and dad driving the jeep.

Dinner at Tommy Bahamas.

Sunday we went to church and did a little more exploring.

On our way to the airport we had to stop at the Beach Tree one last time for a hamburger and a breathtaking sunset.

Good bye paradise we love and miss you!
Just wanted to end this post with a picture of my amazingly goodlooking husband modeling on the beach. Love him!

Thanks Rod for letting us stay at your beautiful condo and for our airline tickets.

This whole trip seems like a dream now, it was so wonderful!
Trip of a lifetime right?

Aloha!
