All the fun things we have been up to lately.

 James playing in the sink while I was getting ready for the day. Wont be doing that again. All he wanted to do was suck on the faucet, which probably was not the cleanest thing ever and squirm. Its just a free standing sink, so falling out might be a big issue.

 James has done some falling asleep in the car lately.

 James has woken up from naps a pretty happy guy. One of my favorite times of the day.

We went to city creek center for my sister in law Deborah's birthday. Here is Wyatt and Carter playing in the water fountains. Wyatt was soaking wet from head to toe, he had a blast.

 James was such a good boy at City Creek. He loves being outside. He did some eating in the stroller, some sleeping and some hangin out.

 James and I made a quick stop at the George E. Wahlen veterans home where I used to work. We visited some old friends. They all had a riot with James. He even got to go on a electric wheelchair ride.

 I finally caught a few smiles on camera! I LOVE these pictures!

 Yesterday I took James swimming for the first time. Here he is trying on his new suit:)

 We went to the Pool by Deborah and Logan's house. I was a little hesitant, but James had quite a time. He would splash himself in the face and just laugh. Eloise like the pool as well. We will definitely be swimming lots this summer.

We have found that James really loves music. Every time the organ or piano starts playing in church , he becomes very alert and makes yelling noises as if he is trying to sing with us. Its so cute. He loves when there is music playing in the car. Sometimes we can hear him trying to sing in the back.Lately he is very intrigued when Brady is playing the guitar. He usually just stares at Brady.But last night he was right there trying to sing along with Brady. I took a video but for some reason it wont upload on the blog. Oh well, this picture doesn't quite do his singing justice.

7 Months Old Today

Our little guy is a whopping 7 months old today!

I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone. In a way it seems like he was just born yesterday. 

Here are some pictures of James in action over the last few days.

James loves everything we put in his mouth. He loves peas, sweet potatoes, bread, pears, oatmeal, rice cereal, pear sauce, green beans, carrots, and pretty much anything sweet.James is now sitting up on his own, with a few falls here and there. He can pick up bread off his high chair tray, he thoroughly enjoys this. He has 

 (as of last night) slept all the way through the night 3 nights in a row,this is a really big step for us. Wahoo! James loves playing and talking. Sometimes we cant even get him to eat his bottle because he just wants to talk and play. He is sometimes quite a distracted eater. This guy is so wiggly and always wanting to move.He is such a joy to have around. James is always making us happy with his adorable smile(that we cant seem to capture on camera) and the way he talks and squeals. Happy 7 months Bug, we love you:).

 What a dude! James has a large noggin but still his hat tends to turn this way sometimes.Even though the hat is not really serving its purpose, I think its so darn cute.

Picnic in the park

Last night Brady, James and me brought our dinner to the park. There is a park just a street up from our house so we just packed up the stroller and we were on our way. We had a fun time with just our little family. Brady is all ours now because he is done with school for the summer! Wahoo! We are so excited! We will be having more picnics at the park! So I am writing one last post for the day. My good buddy Whitney tagged me so I am going to answer her questions...
1. Who has your heart? Well that's an easy one. My best friend and husband Brady, love him.
There is a quote that says " there is this boy that kind of stole my heart. He calls me mom."
Yes of course, James completely has my heart as well:)
2.If you could commit any crime and get away with it(Even God didnt see)what would you do?
hmm I would probably like to not ever have to stop at any red lights, and be exempt from getting in car accidents of course. I would get places alot faster.
3.What is the weirdest thing that you love? Probably glasses, I have always had a big fetish for glasses(eye glasses). I think Brady looks super attractive in his glasses. And I often envy those people who get to wear cute glasses all the time. fiy, I dont need glasses, but wish I did.
4.What would you do if you won a billion dollars? First, buy a house with cash, that would be awesome! Then save some money for all the kiddos that I will have someday. Go buy me some new clothes of course. And let Brady decide what to do with the rest, he is really good with money.
5.If you could have any mode of transportation what would it be?
hmm... an invisible car?
6.What is your dream job? to be honest, I think I have my dream job right now. But if I had to pick a job in the workforce. I would say a nurse in labor and delivery, yup:).
7.What celebrity would you hang out with for 24 hours?
really, I don't know.
8.What human trait do you find obnoxious? when people think they know something about everything, if that counts.
9.Where do you work? AT HOME WITH MY BABY JAMES
10.What characteristic do you wish you had?
I wish I were a better teacher. Ya know how some people can just get up there and teach? It amazes me, and I just dont have that. Wish I did.
11.Who would win a fight between a grilled cheese and ... a .. taco?
If we are talking soft taco, the taco for sure! The taco has so much more that the grilled cheese doesn't. Meat, lettuce, tomato, salsa, and it has lots of cheese too! the Grilled cheese has nothing on the taco!

James is 6 months old today!

Our little man James is 6 months old today! He is getting so big. He loves to eat his bottles, rice cereal, pear sauce, and a new found love for peas. He is so curious and will put anything that is near him in his mouth.James is always in the mood to play. When you lay him on the floor, he usually gets really excited and screams/squeals a very happy scream/squeal. It kind of sounds like a whistle. We have found that if you scream back at him he just laughs, he thinks that is pretty funny.James loves to talk all the time. And his smile is priceless. There is no way you couldn't be happy with this little guy around. He is rolling over on his own and is so close to sitting on his own. We love him more than anything! Happy six months James:)
