Brady and I had a fun family night game. Here are the rules:
  • Drive around town looking for signs with the separate letters from the other persons name.
  • You can only use one letter from the signs you use. All different signs.
  • Be suspicious, you don't want anyone to see you. So run fast.
  • Guess beforehand how long you think it will take.( it only took us like fifteen minutes)

Here's Hopin

I heard on the radio this morning that its supposed to hit 58 degrees today! So I wore a bright yellow shirt and flip flops! Spring day for sure! I just want it to stay spring now. Crossing my fingers that it will stay(maybe my yellow will help). I hope you can enjoy the sun today, it makes me smile.

4:30 p.m.
... Well this is a bit depressing. I had high hopes for this day, and I think I have been cold all day. Maybe my yellow was a curse. I went to the park with Liza and her three kids and my mom today and we were miserable the whole time because of the wind and the cold. Pretty sure it didnt reach 58 degrees. And I am cold right now. Sorry if I got anyones hopes up for the day. Oh well it is still a happy day wearing yellow. Another day.

A Perfect Day!

Saturday Brady and I pretended that it were Valentines Day! That morning Brady made me breakfast in bed, so sweet! Then we went and played racquetball together, which was a blast. Oh and he gave me a really cute water bottle that I have been wanting for a long time.
Saturday night we went to a yummy restaurant called Settebellos its an Italian pizza place. We went there on our first date. We took the frontrunner down to Salt Lake and played games on the way. It was tons of fun.
This is us riding on the front runner! We played games the whole way, the ride went by way too fast.
Brady with our lovely Margarita Pizza, it was super delicious!

We went home and made ourselves some delicious milkshakes and
watched Ground hogs day.
It was a perfect day, we enjoyed every minute of it.

Pastels in Progress

For my Human Development class I have to do a project where I am to learn a new skill. Since I have an artist for a husband. He is going to teach me more about drawing and art, and for the most part I am very interested in Pastels. I am super excited. Last night I had my first art lesson. I realized I know much less than I thought I did about art. Just as a side note, I am taking an art class. But for the most part of this class we learn about artists and things. It hasnt been too much hands on yet. So I am ready to have one on one lessons with art, with Brady. I will try and keep you updated on my progress. Last night Brady had me draw a face how I would normally draw one...

Well, and here is my second picture. I definitely had alot of help from Brady.
It was also sort of difficult because we were not looking at any specific picture, we will be sure to
do that next time. But he helped me alot and there is still a ton of room for improvement. Wish me luck!

LOVE IS...

  • Letting your spouse have the covers at night when they steal them in their sleep.
  • Receiving a warm hug when you get home from work.
  • Having someone to sing and dance in the kitchen with.
  • Talking and laughing about nothing until the wee hours of the morning.
  • Being able to be yourself.
  • Having someone to wipe your tears away.
  • Always having a best friend.
  • Having a cold sore and your spouse still kisses you.
  • Enjoying the boring times.
  • Laughing at the other person's dumb jokes.
  • A kiss good night.
Love you Brady!!!

HAPPY LOVE MONTH EVERYONE!!!!

"I dont know where he came from."

Brady's birthday was this last Friday, January 15th. He was having a great birthday, as usual. We had plans that night after I got off work at 6:00 to go to Joe's Crab Shack in Sandy and then watch Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs when we got home. Well... unfortunately none of that happened that night.
I was on my way home from work, I called Brady, when he answered the only response I got was, " I just got rearended I will call you back." Click. Well I didnt know what to think, all I could do was worry. I arrived at my house and realized that I didnt have my house key(as dumb as that sounds) so I was locked out. I didnt know whether to call Brady or not cause I knew he was busy. So I just sat in the driveway.
I called my mom Because I didnt know what to do. Her and my dad were actually just leaving the house to run an errand and told me they would find Brady and to just stay where I was. My mom called me back about 10 min later to tell me they found him and assured me that he was just fine. She also said, " I dont know where he came from, he is just out here smiling and laughing." This actually didnt surprise me. My dad got the house key from Brady and brought it to me.
His car looks pretty bad but this didnt get Brady down one bit. He came home at 7:30 with a big smile and a hug for me.I was so glad he was ok. We stayed home and ordered pizza. The night was still fun .
I am so blessed to have Brady in my life. If all of this would have happened to me on my birthday I would have been in tears for sure. He teaches me everyday to "always look on the bright side of life." Brady is the most positive/happy person I know and feel so blessed to have him as my husband everyday, and dont know what I would do without him.
